Belgiskt utbyte
En grupp åkrahällelever var i höstas i Europaparlamentet och på besök i en belgisk skola. Nu är det vår tur att visa upp vad vi har för belgarna, besöket pågår en vecka med start på fredag den 11 maj.
Våra gäster bor hos svenska elever, får delta i skolarbetet, besöker Kalmar och Pukeberg.
Day-by-day programme in Nybro
Friday May 11
17.45 Belgian students arrive in Nybro at the train station. Host families will meet there and take students and teachers to their homes.
Saturday May 12: All day with families. No organised activities
Sunday May 13 : Morning with families.
12.00 Meet in the central park of Badhusparken for activities during the afternoon
Bowling ½ the group
Rallye-quiz ½ the group
14.30- 15.30 Picnic/fika by students
End of activities and evening free from organised activities
Monday May 14: Discovery of the Swedish Educational system
08.35 First lesson together with your host
10.00 Swedish students take all Belgian students to computer room 217 for free work on computer etc. You will be picked up there for lunch by your correspondent.
11.10 – 11.40 Free lunch at school
11.40- Lesson after lunch go with your correspondent for ordinary lesson.
13.00 – 14.00 Swedish students take Belgian students to room 213 for French or English lesson. (Story of Nybro, Kalmar and Öland, discussion around an ordinary student schedule and Speed-dating divided in 2 groups, 2 rooms, 213 + 215)
14.00 You will be picked up in room 213 or 215 by your Swedish friend to spend the rest of the afternoon with him/her, according ordinary schedule.
Evening with host families. No organised activities.
Tuesday MAY 15
08.35 – 10.00
Begin at school and meet in the Cafeteria, all Belgian students. Start of the European Union Game in the auditorium. Special guests seats for Belgian students. Introductory speeches.
10.00 Meet outside the school building to walk together to the train station (20 min).
10.37-10.51 Train to Kalmar
11.00-13.30 Free time in Kalmar. Packed lunch from families.
13.30 Meet by the cathedral to walk to the canoe camp (30 min)
14.00-17.00 Canoe ride slowly in the centre of Kalmar, to the castle and back.
Evening Option: Laser Game in Kalmar
Check with your host before going to Kalmar in the morning!
Wednesday May 16
08.35 – 11.30 Work Shops at school
Compare cultures, school systems and spare time activities
All Swedish and Belgian students meet in the cafeteria for info about groups, rooms available and assignment.
Free lunch at school
12.15 All Swedish and Belgian students meet in the cafeteria to walk together to the Pukeberg area. Sw. Teachers Elisabeth Hultman and Malin Mörck will accompany you.
13.00-15.00 Afternoon Swedes and Belgians visit together the Pukeberg area with a guided tour in English and a visit to work shops and School of Design. You will be guided by one of the heads of administration of the municipality of Nybro, Mr Nils-Erik Gustafsson.
After the visit: go with your correspondent. No organised activities
Thursday May 17
09.00 Departure by bus from the big parking lot at Akrahallskolan for a day out on the island of Öland. Oland field trip (pdf)

19.00 – 21.00
Good bye dinner at Akrahallskolan

Friday May 18 Departure day for Belgian guests
